A national driver's license is acceptable, but you will need a Zanzibar driving permit, which costs approximately $10. We arrange for this permit prior to your arrival.

We provide free delivery to the airport, ferry port, or any location within Zanzibar Town. Additional charges may apply for delivery outside these areas.

The total includes the car rental fee and the $10 driver's permit fee. All our rental cars are fully insured, and we handle all road license requirements. See our Zanzibar car rental prices for detailed rates. The Zanzibar Mandatory Travel Insurance must be arranged separately.
